Involved in Coaching and Leadership Development for over 15 years

For more than 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people move forward—first as a physical therapist, and for the past 20 years as a leader developing people and teams. Over the last 15 years, coaching and leadership development have become an increasingly meaningful part of that journey.

But my experience isn’t defined only by my career.

I’m also a husband to a strong and incredibly supportive wife and the proud father of two amazing, confident, and independent daughters. These roles have taught me as much about leadership, growth, humility, and connection as anything I’ve learned professionally.

Like most of us, my own journey has been something of a roller coaster. There have been successes and failures, certainty and uncertainty, times of deep connection and times when I’ve felt disconnected from who I truly am. Along the way, I’ve had to examine my own beliefs, stories, priorities, and choices and ask some difficult questions about who I am and, perhaps more importantly, how I want to be in this world.

Some of my greatest periods of growth have been catalyzed by struggle. Those experiences have helped me understand that the difficult parts of our lives don’t simply have to be endured. They can become invitations—to learn, to grow, to reconnect with ourselves, and sometimes to choose a different path.

That journey is a large part of what drew me to coaching.

I’m passionate about supporting and challenging others as they navigate their own personal and professional lives—not by telling them who they should be or what they should do, but by creating the space to explore who they truly are, what matters most, and how they want to show up in their lives.

I believe we are all leaders.

We lead ourselves. We lead within our families and relationships. And some of us are given the additional responsibility and privilege of leading others in our organizations and communities.

How we choose to show up in those roles matters.

The way a leader interacts with someone at work doesn’t necessarily end when that person walks out the door. That interaction can influence how they show up with a colleague, a patient, a customer, a spouse, or their children. Those interactions ripple outward, often much farther than we realize.

That’s why I believe leadership begins with ourselves.

The more we understand who we are, the stories and beliefs that shape us, and what we truly value, the more intentionally we can choose how we want to live and lead.

And I believe we need that now more than ever.

In a world filled with noise, distraction, comparison, uncertainty, and disconnection, I see a tremendous need for us to slow down enough to rediscover our true selves, reconnect meaningfully with one another, and live with greater clarity, peace, and purpose.

Maybe the work isn’t about becoming someone new.

Maybe it’s about remembering who we were before the world became so loud.

I wonder what might become possible if we gave ourselves the space to reconnect with who we truly are, intentionally create our ideal future, and begin making our way home.
